  Protoform's are the first stage of a transformers life. They are made out of the living metal which transformers are made of. Protoform's are usually transported. Protoform's normally lack an Alt-mode except for one continuity family . Usually a protoform  lacks a spark and are considered unborn. These are called Blanks and can be used to save grown up transformers lives by given them a new body for their spark to inhabit. Blanks look like faceless humanoids and are of metal colour. In one continuity family transformers can revert to a similar protoform stage and can travel in space in transitional form . Blank Protoform's are sometimes used for cloning and in two show showed Starscream make some clones of himself. In animated   Starscream  made clones which had their own names and colour scheme. In Transformers prime Starscream made non sentient clones of himself in the episode Armada .

  Energon  is the life blood of transformer in a since. It's their main sustenance to survive and their have been many wars if not all wars which is connected to this fuel source. It's used for themselves but also for their machines and weapons as well. Energon has many forms naturally such as ore and crystals but the transformers use it in its liquid state and usually store it as energon cubes. The substance is highly volatile, sparks are also made of this substance. True energon is scarce since the war started and they hade to make Artificial variants of the substance from other sources. it also their blood and can be used as Currency. Visually: Usually this substance is portrayed as being Pinkish purple, but in two cases blue and one case yellow. As energon stars they can be many colours actually from red to brown.   Bio description: Structor is a Phristoricons made by Sterofrost, She serves as a muscle when times get rough and is completely loyal to the Autobots. She has her own unit of Structorbots...  A comparison between the original marvel Dier wraith and IDW Dier wraith, which I prefer IDW's. Though this is mainly for transformers. Dier wraiths are from the Rom marvel comics and were the enemies Rom fought. I mentioning them because in the 2005 continuity they were a great part of the transformers comic but as a background since rom has also appeared in many transformers comics.
