Quintessons
The Quintessons are an Mysterious race of Aliens, Their Squid like in appearance and appear mechanical. Their The next villain in the transformers universe who isn't The Decepticons or Unicron.
Their quite economic and are Businessmen in the galaxy as well as having its own empire. Their very corrupt and untrustworthy species who are lead by Quintesson judges who run Kangaroo courts, Feeding both innocent and Guilty to a pool of Sharkticons. But are actually quite weak and Cowardly.

The Quintessons have multiple origins including both from Unicron and Primus ( really It was Quintus Prime). In some universes their organics who piolet exo-suits when visiting other nations. They enslave races and as mentioned worse then the transformers in comparison in evil scale( transformers means Decepticons).
If not in all continuities the Quintessons ruled Cybertron while the transformers were a developing world before the transformers expelled them out of their planet and started their own empire.
In the first transformers tv series they were the creator of the transformers, but this have been dropped as a origin story.
They have some present in transformer continuities(probably except 2001 RID, but I'm not sure) even if they don't show in the tv show, an example Animated Swindle reference them when he's introducing some of his merch in Decepticon air.
